I’m walking in this cold.
leaving footprints by the ocean
oh how it never gets old,
watching the waves in motion
this nature’s a blessing
it’s truly a peace of mind
I can walk here for hours
and be surprised at what I find
it’s more than a walk in the sand
for this beauty of god is true
it’s tracing the steps of my life
admiring the colors of blue
how the sky is so perfect
and the clouds are etched in place
it makes me forget of my worries
and reminds me of god’s grace
a fresher air all around me
it’s a change of the season
it’s time for a new beginning within
and here now i have a reason
because i’ve just realized
God’s beauty and His wonder
the perfection in his design
His Mercy and His Splendor
