Speak of an eternal thought, with which one cannot part

An engraving in my mind, etched delicately in my heart

Talk of an everlasting truth, a memory bright as day

A subconscious beacon of guidance, one that leads the way

A hope eliminating fear, a dream to keep on riding

An urge to continue forward, one in which I keep confiding

Simple a thought it may be, but nonetheless it is a thought

Of a time to come, when hope itself will not be sought

Not out of fear, or the lack of a will, but rather for how it will be

Hope will be there, itself in a form, one’s heart will then see!

Such a breath-taking sight one will behold, beyond the vision of the eyes

An answer in the essence of a being, a response to the endless cries

Mustn’t I lose that will, that hope, which itself counts on me

To pray, to call, to strive, so in turn it can set me free
